Singapore’s healthcare landscape is undergoing a significant transformation with the redevelopment and expansion of the National University Hospital (NUH) and Alexandra Hospital (AH). Emergency Departments face chronic challenges of overcrowding, unpredictable patient surges, and spatial inefficiencies that can lead to delayed triage and clinician burnout. This project proposes a framework utilizing AI-generated synthetic environments and Spatial Computing to create digital twins of the ED. By integrating real-time hospital data with generative AI, we simulate thousands of operational scenarios—ranging from mass casualty incidents to daily peak-hour flows—within a 3D spatial context. These simulations allow hospital administrators to visualize "bottlenecks" in a virtual space before they occur in the physical one.
