Application

Advances in surgical technology have increasingly emphasized the importance of preoperative planning and rehearsal to improve patient outcomes. Traditional methods, such as cadaveric practice or physical models, often lack personalization and scalability. Spatial computing offers an immersive, interactive environment that enables surgeons to rehearse procedures tailored to individual patient anatomy. By integrating imaging data (e.g., CT or MRI scans) into spatial computing platforms, clinicians can simulate complex surgical scenarios, anticipate challenges, and refine techniques before entering the operating room. This approach not only enhances surgical precision but also reduces intraoperative risks and improves training efficiency.
